Nils-Michael has over 30 years of marketing and brand-building experience with some of the best companies in America, with the last 20 years focusing exclusively on the natural and organic products industry.

 

He began his career at the international advertising agency, J. Walter Thompson where he honed his skills in creating results-driven marketing campaigns for companies like Chevron, Sprint, Dole, Castle & Cooke, Bumble Bee Seafoods, Sun-Maid, Sunsweet, Sheraton Hotels, and a host of others.  He went on to launch a group of mutual funds for World Savings and Loan before joining up with Jack Morton Productions where he successfully supported the launch of the Intel Pentium Processor in retail stores, connected Apple Computer with the Smithsonian Institute to create an interactive exhibit for the Gems and Minerals Hall, and drove awareness of the PowerPC chip launch to attendees of COMDEX -- at the time the world's largest trade show with over 100,000 attendees.

 

Nils-Michael received a greenMBA from Dominican University of California, which focuses on the total enterprise and its requirement to adopt sustainable business practices. Prior to that he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing (Advertising minor) from San Francisco State University.

 

Faculty positions include Dominican University of California where he taught entrepreneurial finance in the Green MBA program, and at the University of California at Berkeley Extension program where he taught a course in green leadership based on the work of Adam Smith.

 

He serves regularly as a judge, mentor and advisor to Stanford's BASES Challenge, UC Berkeley's BIG IDEAs competition, Duke Start-Up Challenge, CleanTech Open and regularly mentors students and entrepreneurs.

 

Mr. Langenborg is a Board Member at the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation. He also actively supports the Sierra Club, Audubon Society, The Commonwealth Club, Greenbelt Alliance, Redwood Empire Food Bank, Sustainable Santa Rosa and other community-focused non-profits.

Emily Olson began her career marketing major fine art museum exhibits and managing multi-million dollar private collections. With over 20 years of experience advancing organizational initiatives that address social, environmental, and economic challenges, Emily has worked in both for-profit and non-profit sectors, with local and global brands and organizations like Stanford University, Heinz, Nutiva, the Pablo Picasso Estate, and Organic Valley. 

Emily's current expertise lies in the areas of design, marketing, sales, branding, and triple-bottom-line focused sustainable enterprise practices with an innovative edge. However, her greatest skill is in addressing challenges using systemic-based approaches and tools that create a holistic result. Her keen strategic vision and palpable excitement for making the world a better place have brought her clients great prosperity. 

 

Ms. Olson is also the Founder of ReGenFriends™, a platform that promotes customer-centric regenerative business.


Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art & Design from The Evergreen State College and an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise from Dominican University of California (which she proudly earned as a single mom).
